Our church was founded in 1993 to enable Japanese-speaking people in Switzerland and southern Germany to worship and learn more about God and the Bible.
Our church fellowship in Dübendorf is a warm, friendly, and supportive group of believers, both young and old. As a diverse group, we understand the challenges of culturally mixed relationships and the problems in growing up with multiple cultural backgrounds. We are happy to help people who are new to Switzerland and those who are encountering problems in cultural or personal adjustments. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Our services and groups are open to everyone, whether you are Christian or not. For young people and teenagers, there are strong and active support groups with members from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Many Japanese professionals and academics who visit Switzerland- -with or without family- -also join us while they are here in the country.
We hope you will come and visit us some time!
With warm wishes,
Japanese Evangelical Church of Switzerland
Join us in celebrating our service on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 15:00. We will meet physically in Dübendorf and also on the internet, via Zoom. We will be taking all kinds of safely precautions in our Dübendorf church and very much hope that you can join us, so that we can praise the Lord together. The sermon this week will be held via Zoom by Pastor Martin Meyer and is entitled "Reaching the Goal of Belief." The key Bible text is taken from the Epistle to the Philippians 3: 12-21. Let us pray for the victims of the corona-virus and for the health of everyone!
please note: we are at our new and larger location in Dübendorf!
