Our church was founded in 1993 to enable Japanese-speaking people in Switzerland and southern Germany to worship and learn more about God and the Bible.
Our church fellowship in Dübendorf is a warm, friendly, and supportive group of believers, both young and old. As a diverse group, we understand the challenges of culturally mixed
relationships and the problems in growing up with multiple cultural backgrounds. We are happy to help people who are new to Switzerland and those who are encountering problems in cultural
or personal adjustments. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Our services and groups are open to everyone, whether you are Christian or not. For young people and teenagers, there are strong and active support groups with members from a variety of cultural
backgrounds. Many Japanese professionals and academics who visit Switzerland- -with or without family- -also join us while they are here in the country.
We hope you will come and visit us some time!
With warm wishes,
Japanese Evangelical Church of Switzerland
Please join us in our next service on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 15:00. We will be meeting in person at our Dübendorf church. However, for you at home, the service will also be available via Zoom. Either way, we very much hope that you can join us so that we can praise the Lord together! Pastor Martin Meyer will be the speaker and his sermon title: Fulfilling the Contract with Christ. The Bible verses are Luke 9: 10-17. In the meantime, let us all pray for peace in the world and for the continued health of everyone!
Please note: we are at our central location in Dübendorf!
